The NPHC is a non profit corporation. It has been set up for the education about and fostering of regional ownership and enjoyment of the Peruvian Paso horse. The organization is a local charter for the national North American Peruvian Horse Association (NAPHA). The club promotes the Peruvian Horses at the local level and helps newcomers to learn more about the breed, as well as offering many equine and social activities for their members’ education and enjoyment. Typical activities include putting on an annual horse show in Monroe, Washington, hosting two or three clinics per year, riding in parades, participating in horse fairs, wine rides, clinics, trail rides and other popular pastimes. The organization is centered in the Northwest but has members from all over the West Coast and Canada. A general membership meeting is held each year. One fund-raising horse show is sponsored annually.
